Tamashii® Tibet

Prayer Wheel

This collection is called “Prayer Wheel” (Tibetan: འཁོར་), a tipical Tibetan object of worship. Normally, on the outside of the wheel is impressed the Sanskrit mantra Om Mani Padme Hum.

According to the Tibetan Buddhism tradition, based on texts that speak about prayer wheels, spinning these wheels has the same praiseworthy effect of reciting a prayer.

The engraved wheels (barrel or sphere shaped) are made of 925‰ silver.
